Article from the Revue des Vins de Fance "They have changed their lives ... and we have tasted their wines" - N°657 - February 2022
"Luc Briand was an estate manager but also a wine lover, just like Bénédicte Petit. In 2019, they bought this flagship estate of Anjou Noir from the Richou family, which was built on schist and volcanic rock. The estate of about thirty hectares divided into several parcels between Aubance, Layon and Loire is converted to biodynamics. The Biodyvin (2021) and Demeter (2020) certifications confirm the couple's determination to preserve biodiversity. The first vintage of their fruity-fleshed 2019 anjou Grand Vau (92/100, 19€) offers a slender, clay-like profile; we love its energy and brightly bitter finish. The Grandes Rogeries 2019 (55€) is a chenin fermented and aged in Burgundy barrels with lovely mineral notes. - K.V."
